Inspiration

Lollapalooza 2021 in Chicago was my first music festival. Beforehand, I wanted to sample the music of most artists on the lineup. So, I manually went through and created a massive Spotify playlist by hand. I added the top 10 songs of the more popular artists and the top 5 of the less popular ones. This process took way longer to do than I wanted, so I started this project to simplify that process and make it easy for anyone to make a custom playlist!

How it works

You can do one of the following:

1. Festival Presets: Select from a list of preset festivals that have been added to the app and it will pull the participating artists' data from Spotify. These presets are manually set up by myself, so let me know if there's any you'd like to see!

2. Text-to-Playlist: Copy and paste a list of artist names or upload a CSV of artist names into the app and it will pull those artists' data.

3. Image-to-Playlist: Upload a photo of the festival lineup and the app will use image-to-text software along with Spotify's API to pull those artists' data.

You can then select which artists you want to include in your playlist and the app will generate a playlist for you!
